Complete six Grade 12 University courses (4U/4M)
A "university admission average" is determined by your "top six" Grade 12 Ontario high school courses.
This average is equally weighted between required and elective courses.
Each university program requires specific courses to apply (please see below).

Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC)
Apply here. OUAC receives and processes all applications to Ontario Universities. If you are applying to an Ontario University, your application will cost $156. Your application fee allows for 3 program choices. Additional program choices cost $50/each.
The deadline for Group A applicants to submit their completed applications to the OUAC.
Note: The OUAC will continue to process applications received after this date and distribute them to Ontario universities; however, specific university deadlines will apply.
The latest date all Group A applicants who submitted their application by the January application deadline can expect a response from an Ontario university.
This includes:
An offer of admission
A refusal
A deferral of admission (once additional information is received)
The earliest date a Group A applicant may be required to respond to an Ontario university offer of admission and give a financial commitment
(e.g., registration deposit, residence deposit)
All other admission-related elements — including scholarships, student assistance, financial incentives, and residence offers — are considered part of the offer of admission. Students may accept these offers before June 1, 2026, but Ontario universities will not require a decision before this date.
