Cooperative Education
Co-operative Education is a high school program that allows students to earn secondary school credits while gaining real-world work experience in a field they are interested in.
Students are placed in a workplace connected to their interests and future goals, where they apply their classroom learning in a real-world setting and develop essential employability skills. Through hands-on experience in a professional environment, students explore career pathways, build confidence, and gain experience that extends beyond classroom learning.
Co-op is open to Grade 11 and Grade 12 students and supports all post-secondary pathways, including:
University
College
Apprenticeship
Workplace / direct entry into the workforce
Healthcare
Skilled trades & apprenticeships
