Prestigious 4 year mentorship and scholarship program aimed at students demonstrating exceptional leadership, character, academic excellence, curiosity and physical vigor. Award winners attend the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. If interested, speak to your guidance counsellor. Applications open Aug. 15th.

📒U of T Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship (School Sponsored )
The University of Toronto is looking for exceptional international students in their graduating year who have made a significant impact on their school or community. Students selected as winners of the scholarship will receive financial support for tuition, books, residence, and incidental fees for the four years they study at U of T. One student will be selected by the Monarch Park Scholarship Committee as the nominee for this scholarship.

📒University of Toronto Book Award/National Scholarship (School Sponsored)
The U of T National Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate superior academic performance, original and creative thought and exceptional extra-curricular achievement. The award covers tuition, incidental and residence fees for up to four years of undergraduate study. Must be selected the U of T Book Award winner to qualify.

Available to families of Burger King employees and any Gr. 12 student. Criteria includes: academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, work experience and financial need. Application opens Oct. 16th.

The Loran Award recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, character, perseverance and a commitment to their community. Up to 36 awards are available valued at $100,000 over four years.

📒TD Scholarships for Community Leadership
The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership recognizes students who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community leadership. TD Scholarship for Community Leadership recipients receive up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses as well as opportunities for paid summer employment, peer networking and mentorship.

📒TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples
Scholarships awarded to First Nation, Metis and Inuit students pursuing a college diploma or university degree. 25 scholarships are awarded annually, worth up to $60,000.

📒U of T Wolf Scholars (School Sponsored and Self Nominated) - New****
U of T is offering a new scholarship for Arts and Science students (with the exception of Rotman Commerce) demonstrating exceptional drive, leadership, curiosity, intellectual engagement and exceptional character. The scholarship provides fully funded travel, internships at top organizations, mentorship, and more.

📒OSSTF Student Achievement Awards
OSSTF/FEESO invites student writers and artists to submit creative work exploring this year’s theme: 2Gether > 1 — Together is Greater Than One. Judging will be held at the school, district, regional and provincial levels. Eleven provincial winners will be awarded $1000 each in prizes and will be invited to our Annual General Meeting in March, where a video showcasing their work will be screened.

School Sponsored Schulich Leader Scholarship
Schulich Leader Scholarships are entrance scholarships awarded to high achieving students entering the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field. Students must demonstrate two of the following criteria: academic excellence, leadership (entrepreneurial or community) or financial need.

African Heritage Month at the TDSB - Know Your Worth Scholarship
Graduating students of African Heritage will be able to apply for three prizes: Kujichagulia Academic Award, Kuumba Creative Award, and Umoja Leadership Award. Each award has a prize of $2,000.00. The Ade Adegbite Memorial Scholarship/Cheung-Poon Memorial Scholarship For Students Living with Epilepsy
The Ade Adegbite Memorial Scholarship and the Cheung-Poon Memorial Scholarship both recognize students with epilepsy who have overcome barriers and continue to demonstrate resilience in coping with the challenges of epilepsy.

The Rick & Amanda Hansen Scholarship for Youth with Disabilities provides financial support to Canadian youth with disabilities to pursue post-secondary education. Funding of up to $10,000 per year (up to a maximum of $40,000) is available.

The Bloorview School Authority Bursary
The Bloorview School Authority Bursary is awarded to a student with a disability who meets each of the following criteria:
attended Bloorview School Authority (formerly Bloorview MacMillan Centre) or was a client of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
is starting studies in a recognized post secondary institution (college or university).
has demonstrated achievement with a high academic record, participated in extracurricular activities and made community contributions through volunteerism.

The Bill 7 Award for 2SLGBTQI+ Students
This scholarship is for students who identify as LGBTQ2SI+ and who have demonstrated financial need. Must be attending a post-secondary institution next year. Last year, 19 scholarships of $4000 and three recurring multi-year scholarship of $4000 per year were awarded.

The MPC Scholarship Committee awards a variety of scholarships each year at Commencement. Students who would like to be considered for this year's awards and scholarships should submit a Summary of Activities. For more information on how to complete this requirement, please refer to the Summary of Activities Exemplar. The Monarch Park Scholarship Committee will use these submissions to help guide their award selections.

A scholarship worth $500 will be awarded to a Monarch Park student pursuing an Engineering degree/diploma at an accredited postsecondary institution this fall. To be considered for this scholarship, please submit your application using this google form:

Proof of acceptance into an Engineering program.
A Summary of Activities. (refer to the template posted on the Student Services website under scholarships)
Provide evidence of engagement with engineering or STEM-related activities (e.g., school projects, clubs, competitions, internships, volunteer work, etc.).
