Our goal at Malvern is to inspire a love of languages that will last well after graduation. The cognitive and practical benefits to second- and third-language learning speak for themselves. We are inspired by our students, by the development of their skills, and we really enjoy seeing and hearing the students using the language they’ve worked so hard to acquire.

Second-language learning is also a key asset in our increasingly globalized world. Whether it be French, Spanish, or any other language, it’s more than just memorizing verb conjugations and reading old books; it’s exposure to other cultures, and an understanding that other languages are a window to different world views and traditions. In other words: by learning a second language, we open ourselves up to so much more than just a line on a resume.
