Navigating Post Secondary Transitions

On Thursday, Nov. 20th at 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Heydon Park will host a virtual meeting to discuss Post-Heydon Park and options available for students for Parents/Caregivers. This event will be hosted by Heydon Park's teachers: Ms. Hosein and Mr. Servos

6:30 p.m.: Doors open for Share the Music participants (please enter via the Victoria St. doors and proceed to the sixth floor for the workshop)

6:45 p.m.: Pre-Show Workshop with Gila Munster

7 p.m.: Doors open for groups not attending the workshop

8 p.m.: CAL Madonna

OSSLT Literacy Test - Tues. Nov. 25th

The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test is a mandatory graduation requirement, designed to test the reading comprehension and writing skills of students. Since both Grade 10 and 11 English classes are running in Semester 1, we have decided to administer the OSSLT (Literacy Test) on Tuesday, November 25, rather than the original scheduled date in March of 2026.

A letter will be sent out soon to all students who will be writing. There will be no school that day for all students who are not writing but online learning support will be available. More details to follow.
