Heydon S.P.A.R.K. Program

Heydon Park has developed an inhouse certification program to document student achievement and readiness for life after high school. This program integrates workplace readiness and experiential learning in which students earn certifications and complete skills-based modules that are documented on a SPARK Passport. These components include specialized tech courses, workplace certifications, Co-op placements, and more. 

The SPARK Program builds: 

• Skills: Job readiness, literacy, numeracy, technology.

• Interests: Arts, innovation, community initiatives.

• Strengths: Leadership, real-world application, communication skills, hands-on learning.
