The TTC uses simple white circles with black outlines for regular stations and a thicker, double-lined circle for interchange stations
LONDON
The London Underground uses “tick” marks for standard stations and circles and blobs for interchange stations
TOKYO
The Tokyo Metro gives each station a letter and number code that is shown in a small box. Interchange stations group these boxes together
MEXICO CITY
Mexico City has a unique pictogram for each station. Interchange stations show a striped colour that represents each line.
