Settlement Patterns and sustainability

Through interactive maps, activities and thematic games, students explore settlement patterns in Canada's past and present. Many additional activities and extensions are available here.

Riel's Rebellion and Metis traditions

Explore the cause and effects of the rebellion, and take part in Metis traditions that define the peoples of the early Manitoba area.

Water Systems/ Custom Program

Water Systems: Students explore water systems through invertebrate studies and measurements to determine if the water is impacted by humans. Games and citizen science are introduced.
