Fur Trade Perspectives

Through traditional games, hands-on activities and inquiry, students gain an understanding of how the fur trade and interactions impacted both the Europeans and First Nations.

Climate Change

Explore how our decisions impact climate change through a role playing game involving GPS units and global trade. Discover what is contributing to or mitigating climate change and its impacts.

Group Dynamics/ Custom Program

Through the lens of learning skills students participate in activities that force them to co-operate and function as a cohesive group.

Grade 8 Programs

Water Systems

Students explore water systems through benthic invertebrate studies (location dependent) and water quality measurements to determine if the watershed is impacted by humans. Games and citizen science are introduced.


Riel's Rebellion and Settlement Patterns

Explore the cause and effects of the rebellion, and take part in the settlement of the early Manitoba area and its impacts.
