Discover the different habitats in your local greenspace! Compare and contrast the different living things found in each, as well as play fun games showing how habitats are important to all living things.
Explore how early societies thrived with hands on activities, inquiry and games!
Through traditional games, hands on activities, and inquiry, students gain an understanding of how the fur trade and early interactions impacted both the Europeans and first nations.
Using the learning skills as a guide, students work on co-operation and respect through games and activities.
Take photos of nature like a pro using our digital cameras (1 per student). Students focus on specific elements and principals of design in their photographs.

Explore local biodiversity of the schoolyard and/or greenspace. Through scavenger hunts, tree ID keys, games, tea and insect surveys, the need for biodiversity is highlighted. Some optional (and season/location dependent) extensions: Pond/Stream study with benthic invertebrates.
