Hello!
My name is Vivienne Bradbury and I am the Elementary Itinerant Guidance Counsellor (EIC) assigned to your child's school in the Learning Centre 2 area of the TDSB. I have created this website so that you will have access to up-to-date information and resources that will help your grade 7 and 8 child as they navigate their middle school years. I have been with the TDSB for 26 years, first as a classroom teacher, then a teacher-librarian, and for the last 10 years, as an EIC.
Please contact me (see chart below) if you have any questions or concerns about your child.
My current assignment covers three schools and information shared may be different for each school with respect to my deadlines and availability so please locate your school in the tabs above. My mandate is grade 7 and 8 students but I am happy to meet with students in other grades if the need arises. Here are some of my duties:
- support the transition of students from elementary to secondary
- guide grade 8 students throughout the application and course selection process
- assist students with career development through exploration of destination pathways
- assist students to complete their Individual Pathways Plan on myBlueprint
- attend School Support and IPRC Review Meetings
- provide individual assistance and short-term counselling for students
Students may request an appointment with me (see form below), or drop in when I am at their school. Sometimes parents and teachers refer students to me.
