Position Summary
A Student Athlete Leadership Team member is an ambassador of Lions Athletics. They act as a representative council of their fellow student athletes and community, provide feedback to the Athletics Department, engage and lead in various Athletic/Community-building Events, and take part in leadership learning and development. The team members will work closely with Mr Yu, and fellow coaching staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
To be a part of leadership development through fun, engaging, and experiential learning
To be a representative council and voice of the SA’s for Athletics input and growth
To be community builders amongst their peers
To help lead and serve at various Athletics/Community events and activities
Duties and responsibilities performed within one's capabilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing.
Requirements
Passing grade in all subjects, with plans to improve academic approaches.
Traits & Attitudes
It is expected that this person supports the objectives of ASPS and be able to align themselves with the mission of ASPS Athletics.
It is expected that this person loves learning and desires to grow as a leader.
It is expected that this person is respected amongst their peers and coaches on their team and is able to think and lead and advocate in the interests of their team and the athletic community.
