We often equate sports with fitness and health, but what about the large majority of students who may not thrive in traditional sports? The Angelie games are geared towards students who yearn to be active, belong, and build relationships.

Inclusive games are a cornerstone for fostering active participation in physical education, as they inherently cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests. By designing activities that minimize barriers and maximize accessibility, educators can ensure every student feels valued and capable of contributing. This approach not only promotes physical activity for all, but also cultivates a sense of belonging and teamwork, as students learn to collaborate and support one another regardless of individual differences. When games are adapted to accommodate varying skill levels, physical limitations, and even cultural backgrounds, they transform physical education into an engaging and equitable experience where every student has the opportunity to shine and develop a lifelong appreciation for movement.
We are very saddened by the terrible loss of our former student, shining star, Angelie Panday. Throughout her time with us, she had the exact, contagious smile. Her attitude towards life was always positive! Angelie's smile reminds us to enjoy physical movement in all forms. Let's move and smile together in honour of Angelie!
Inclusive games can be very physical, and challenging while keeping all players involved. There are multiple re-entry/restart points in all of our activities. We challenge the norm by using non-traditional games! Laughter is guaranteed!
These games are for anyone however, we suggest putting together a team of 12-15 students who generally love having fun, but may not necessarily thrive with traditional games/sports.
Just another sample of games that address HPE expectations, but also generating a lot of fun and positivity!
