Audition Information

The York Mills C.I. Band Department will be holding auditions this upcoming September 2026 for our two ensembles: Concert Band and Symphonic Band. Your placement will be determined on skill level, but also need within the ensemble. 

The links will become live in September. Each instrument will have a different set of requirements to record and submit the Google Drive link to Mrs. Bonura.

Both ensembles will perform for YMCI and middle schools, participate in marching bands, as well as OBA, Kiwanis, and MusicFest competitions. 

These ensembles are a full-year commitment. Attendance at all rehearsals every week is mandatory. Mrs. Bonura must be notified of all absences well in advance of rehearsal. No more than 2 missed rehearsals per semester.
