• If you receive a mark between 35% and 49% you can attend a credit recovery course in summer school.

• If you do not complete the course in summer school you must repeat the course the following year.

Yes! The course is transmitted to the application systems the same way your other grade 12 courses are sent.

No, for a couple of reasons:

• • We won't know who is teaching the course until much later in the process!

  • Classes are usually timetabled close to capacity, so the Guidance team has to prioritize any space in classes to resolve timetable conflicts and enroll new students.

No. Creating timetables for 1400 students is a very complex puzzle so we are not able to accommodate these requests. 

The main reason is that it's the first step in the process to make next year's school timetable.  Which courses will run and how many sections each course will have is determined by how many students sign up to take the course.  By choosing courses accurately now, you will also avoid conflicts on your timetable and increase your chance of being enrolled in your first choices.

• We cannot guarantee that you will get all the electives you signed up for.  By listing your alternate choices you are making it more likely to get something you are interested in.

• These numbers are also taken into account when creating the school's master timetable.

• Speak to Mr. Hirji or Ms. Michalidis to learn more information about co-op/SHSM/Dual Credits/OYAP and attend the information sessions. 

• For information about online e-learning course, please make an appointment with your Guidance counsellor.

• No. The school master timetable is created for everyone at the same time when the "magic button" is pressed, so it doesn't matter if you're the first to submit your courses or the last...everyone gets a fair chance if you submit by the deadline. 

• We'd actually rather you wait to submit your form.  If you submit your choices early and then change your mind, you will need to contact your alpha guidance counsellor to regain access. 

• We cannot guarantee you will get all of the courses you selected, so please be sure to include alternative courses in your submission.
