Each group will sit in a large circle, duck, duck, goose style. Choose one student from the circle to start with a full cup of water. That student will start going around the circle, dripping a tiny amount of water on each child's head. While they do this, they will say the word "drip." They continue around the circle until they choose a child to say "drop." When they say the word "drop", they pour the rest of the water on that child's head and start running. Similar to duck, duck, goose, the child who the water dropped on must try and tag the first student that is running. The first student must run all the way around the circle and back to the empty spot. Then they switch cups and start again. If needed, you can add a second cup and allow two children to go at once.
Students will play a game of tag by using squirt bottles. The taggers will have the squirt bottles. Students must stay in the boundaries the teacher gives. Taggers try to spray the other students (on the shirts or pants only). Once a child is "tagged" they must freeze until another child comes to save them. In order to be unfrozen, another student must come and do 5 jumping jacks with them. Once that is complete, the student is unfrozen and can play again. After a few minutes, switch taggers.
For this activity, students will need to be on two teams. Each team will have a cup of water and two buckets. The race is simple; who can run to fill up the bucket the fastest? The first two students will use dip the cup into a bucket of water. They will then run to the bucket opposite their team and dump in the water. Then, they will switch with their teammates. The team to have the fullest bucket wins!
This activity is SLIGHTLY different than the video, because we will be using chalk rather than the items in the video. You will need a few pieces of chalk for this challenge. Have students get into 4 or 5 teams. Once in teams, chose one student to be the drawer. The teacher will then give each group a challenge. For example, make a shadow as a team that looks like a tree. Students can get into a tree pose, or figure out a way to make a shadow that looks like a tree together. Then the drawer will trace the shadow and see how they did!

Paper Airplane Cornhole: You will need a paper airplane for each student and a bucket for each team. Each person will make a paper airplane. You can create your airplane however you would like. Use the Paper Airplane activity to show you how! Similar to the game called cornhole/bags, students will be on two teams. Have them take turns throwing the paper airplane into the bucket. Each time you make it in the bucket, you get 1 point.
For this activity, you will need a large space to spread out hula hoops. You need one hula hoop for every student playing. Each student will start out in one hula hoop. The teacher will say, "If you like "blank," scramble. In the blank, you can say whatever you would like. Examples could be candy, playing outside, swimming, etc. When you say the word scramble, students who agree with what you said will switch to a new hula hoop. The teacher will count down from 5 seconds to 1 and then the students must be in a hoop. Then, say something new and start again!
Choose Your Favorite Character: Follow the link below to try out our character challenge. Students will choose their favorite character, then do the exercises that go along with that character. Some of the exercises are tricky, so do your best!
