B: What was achieved in the past?
Having served as FITB president, I have the competencies and experiences for this position. I would like to go further, deeper and broader. I aspire to make more breakthroughs. During my presidency, I was also working full-time while dedicating on average another 8 hours daily to promote tchoukball. In 2009 FITB had no money or fund, I personally sponsored 35 thousand USD to assist Federation work. Fortunately, after one year, FITB started to have the income grow.
Four (4) continental federations: they were created during my presidency, and regularly organized championships every 2 years which I took part in. Half of the FITB fee and equipment for the continental championships was also sponsored by FITB. During my presidency, I made the decision to fully sponsor the airfare for those who went on promotional trips and the cost to provide nets and balls for participating countries. I asked Chiara to assist with countries within the European Federation, and Silver for the Pan-American Federation, Julio for the African federation, and Jeff or I for the Asian Federation. I am also thankful to two Taiwanese companies, FJC Tchoukball and TTB, for their full support. Continental federations will be authorized more power in the future and regularly meet online every 3 months.
2. SportAccord exhibitions: set up an exhibition booth 3 times during my 8-year presidency [including writing up proposals to apply for grants from the Taiwanese government for approximately TWD$1.2 million (about USD$40,000) each time]. I had also personally attended SportAccord 3 other times, which added up to 6 trips in total, wanting to let the top executives of international sports know about tchoukball. I am grateful for the assistance from the Taiwanese government.Like photos 2012. 2013. 2014. 2015. 2016.
3. Met with top sport executives in each country: As long as there was a need, I would make use of our stay during tournaments or visits to meet with top executives of the host country to speak for local tchoukball promoters and assist with the development of seminars or training.
4. FITB statues: In 2011, I asked Pierre, the FITB EC to help structure a good system for tchoukball. Most of the regulations were established at this time. We need to make it better.Make FITB great and better.
5. Promoted tchoukball in 37 countries: With the support from the Taiwanese government that fully sponsored my airfare, I visited on average 8 countries every year. Travel across 4 continental. There probably has not been any other president that has actively shown so much initiative.

6. Results: over the 8 years, 43 official international championships (on average 5 championship per year) and 123 referee and coach seminars (on average 15 seminars per year) were organized, making it the most eventful period in the history of FITB.
7. The number of member countries doubled: From 22 countries (only 15 of which were actually promoting) to 47 countries.
8. Joined a major sport association: joined The International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA). Thanks to Chiara's assistance.
9. 2017 World Beach Championship: including 5-star hotel accommodation, live broadcasts via TV and webcasts, the whole beach and an unforgettable gala dinner.
10. Organized international tchoukball academic conference: provided opportunities for more people, including university professors, to know about tchoukball, recognize its benefits and in turn help bring tchoukball into FISU or AUSF.
11. Designed more than 30 kinds of souvenirs: These are memories of everyone in the history of tchoukball.
12. Authorized the executive committee: to the best of my ability, I met with the executive committee bi-monthly to decide on international policies, providing everyone a full understanding and background to execute promotional plans.
13. Send training personnel in advance to countries that are to organize international championships. We would like to see the host country making it into the top 4. This became the benefit of bidding to host. 43 events have been hosted during this time.
14. Supported the General Assembly: As a token of appreciation for everyone’s hard work, the cost for the representatives that came to participate in the following were free: the 3 days to watch the championships, the 2 days for GA and the 3 days for visits. There were also VIP cars available during the championships. They would also have the opportunity to taste Taiwanese cuisine and enjoy the scenery (only available when the General Assembly took place in Taiwan, which we truly owed to the support from the Taiwanese government and company help.) 15. Women at important positions: There were 3 women presidents during the previous 4 continental federations.
16. Made Tchoukball teaching methods video share in YOUTUBE for free.
17.Relive tchoukball: 1999 i did an event inviting japan and swiss to come to taiwan.
18.Sister school: Try to help association to association,school to school together because of tchoukball.
19.Taiwan no:1 in sport association : I use the new media that tchoukball taiwan was voted no:1 feeling excellent in all sports in taiwan.
20.Local promote: 1 school tchoukball class championship 46 teams. 1 city tchoukball championship 76 teams for 28 years. National event 100 more teams.
21.I help tchoukball join WWG2007 and WG2009 and WG2013.It is very hard work and a long story.
22.Event in Taiwan can have more people to see:I did 10 years of work.
23.Best sport school: TSAI elementary school is the best sports school in Taiwan because of tchoukball.There are only 2 elementary schools that get the honor.
Overall, there are regulations in Taiwan for international federations to seek government and company support. As Taiwanese teams have been at the top of world rankings, we should certainly offer our support for tchoukball even more. During my 8-year presidency, the support received from all levels of the Taiwanese government and companies for tchoukball events amounted to around TWD$20 million (approximately USD$67,000). I have a group of people nearby to help.
It shows I can and I did. Not just speak and wish and never did before. I will continue to do these kinds of good things for tchoukball.
