Workshop
This workshop empowers Black male students to explore ways to navigate the post-COVID modern world. It also teaches how to be optimistic about the future despite current obstacles they may face, and learn ways to become effective contributors in a competitive global society. It encourages Black students to visualize a future that is prosperous. As young Black men, we need to see ourselves as contributors to global solutions. The workshop also examines the importance of building positive relationships and a sense of brotherhood among Black youth: a source of motivation and empowerment. The goal of this workshop is to create an affirmative space that fosters constructive conversations that reassure Black students that they can be successful in their endeavours.

Workshop
Being a teenager is tough, but when you are a Black male, it is much harder. Out of fear of being portrayed as a troublemaker, a gang member, or someone who is not intelligent, many young men feel the need to put on a mask. Too many times students feel as though being themselves is not good enough. This workshop will tackle the challenges that young Black men face in both in school and in society.
