Student Success

Student Success works within the Guidance Department. In addition to providing student resources and information, the role of Student Success is to monitor student achievement, data, progress reports and credit accumulation. In addition, recommended students may be placed in Credit Recovery. Student advocacy is an important part of Student Success. Any student who feels they need this assistance is welcome to contact us. Supports include: connecting to caring adults, supporting transitions into secondary and post-secondary programs. Additional support is obtained through shared professional development, assisting with implementing the School Learning Improvement Plan and the acquisition of skills and knowledge for successful academic achievement. SMT Student Success is committed to providing students with experiential learning opportunities.
