The Business Department operates a non profit school store that is run by senior Business Leadership students.  This opportunity gives students real life experience in what it takes to plan, organize, operate, control and show leadership in a small business environment.  

Marketing students are interviewed and hired as employees who then have the opportunity to put their marketing skills to use.  They learn other essential skills such as time management, organization, teamwork, and financial literacy.  

Students from Special Programs are also trained in customer service and product management.  All funds raised are put back into the store and used for inventory and store improvement.  There are exciting plans for future expansion as the student leaders look into online shopping and the selling of goods produced by various departments at Mary Ward such as Art and Manufacturing.
