About Us

S. Mak

Ms. Mak has been a long-time member of the Mary Ward Community. In addition to teaching English, she had worn many different hats, such as Chaplain and Teacher Librarian. She is the English Department Head, Literacy Lead, a member of Mary Ward's EPIC Committee and LSSAC. She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time in nature.

P. McAlpine

Mr. McAlpine teaches ENG 1D1, 2D1, 2P1, 3U1 and 4U1. He is a member of Mary Ward's EPIC committee and a coach of the school's ball hockey team.

When he is not teaching, Mr. McAlpine is probably at home raising his twin daughters.

M. Mabrucco

Mr. Mabrucco teaches Media Studies (EMS3O1) and whatever else Ms. Mak tells him to. He is also Mary Ward's Drama and Stage Management teacher. Mr. Mabrucco has taught English in Italy, France, Greece, Monaco, and Vatican City. He is a strong supporter of publishing student work, so get ready to be famous!
