REV B'ham is a non profit organization working to make Birmingham, Alabama a better place. Due to destruction and crime over the years, Birmingham has been torn down from the once beautiful and lively city it was back in the past. Some things that REV B'ham has done include fixing road lines, painting, picking up trash, and even replacing the long forgotten Alabama theater sign, which was a historical sign that was removed in the very late 50's. Every week, REV B'ham selects an employee that has done the most reviving of B'ham, for their 'spotlight' event. REV B'ham also highlights different businesses and individuals around the community that are working to make it a better place.

Revis House (Bethel Church Guardhouse) 3236 29th Avenue North, Birmingham
After the church was bombed on Christmas day in 1956, the front porch of the Revis House was used by volunteer civil rights guards to watch the church and its newly constructed parsonage.

Finley Roundhouse, Birmingham, Jefferson County
Although the railroad tracks inside the building and the 90-foot-diameter turntable that sat in the courtyard outside have been removed, the spartan character of the interior remains as a testament to Birmingham’s industrial might during the early 20th century.

Thomas Jefferson Hotel, Birmingham, Jefferson County
A $35,000 improvement project was done in 1933. Some of the retail spaces were subsumed into a larger hotel lobby with an electric fireplace. The dining room was similarly expanded and a banquet room was constructed over part of the roof terrace. Birmingham newspapers declared the 200-room Thomas Jefferson Hotel as one of the finest in the country.

Although individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it had been vacant for several years. The building was revived in a $20 million historic redevelopment project and opened in 2017.
