Current Revitalization is the recent things that have been updated or rebuilt to a city's building, home, or street. Revitalization could be as easy as repainting a building, or it could be as difficult as creating a new structure. It could even mean re-doing an entire bridge. For example, the 2nd Ave North area is currently going through a road construction and revitalization project of re-doing roads, sidewalks, repainting buildings, and much more.
The Florentine Building is a two-story, 23,000 square foot building that has been re-imagined as a restaurant. They plan to bring at least 45 employees to the building. There will be a fancy restaurant
The Powell school is being transformed into an apartment complex.

The Lyric Theatre was revitalized in the year of 2016. The 102-year-old building was falling apart so it definitely needed to be fixed up and re-done. The building had been standing since 1914. The building has been rebuilt and looks newer and better than it did the year of 1914 with still keeping the history in the design. On the left side the picture is of the building before it got re-done, in the middle is the outside of the building, and on the right is a picture of the building today after it got re-done.
The Johnson Family Garden
This garden is meant for kids and adults to enjoy the outside and enjoy the beauty of the garden. The garden was ran by Foster Lucille Morris Johnson until she died at the age of 81-years-old. Kids from schools around the area are able to come and learn about gardening.
The colorful tunnel
This is a colorful tunnel that attracts people from all across Alabama. This is apart of current revitalization because it makes Birmingham, Al look better. The colorful tunnel is located on 1 14th St S, Birmingham, AL 35203.
