About Us

The Tau Beta Pi Chicago Alumni chapter was the first alumni chapter formed in 1907 and chartered in 1913.  It serves the alumni and collegiate chapters of the Chicago area.

Recent History:
In November of 2011 with the work an effort of TBP Director of Alumni Affairs, Tricia Gomulinski, an outreach was made to Tau Beta Pi Engineers in the Chicago Area.  There was an invitation sent to the engineers inviting them to a social event at Giordano's pizza in downtown Chicago.  This was the first of several meetings that took place. Soon, after officers were chosen and bylaws were written, the registration with IRS as a non-profit also took place. Since that time Tau Beta Pi Chicago Alumni chapter has once again been active in the community and with different activities for its members as well as offering support for local chapters.
