This committee will hold its first meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, in the Georgia 3 room on the 1st floor. The NEST program founders, George Miyata and Chris Potts, will serve as advisors to this group. They will preside over the opening meeting and will ask the group to select the chair, who must be an appointed member of your committee.
Your chair will present the committee's report to the Convention at the Second Business Meeting on Friday afternoon and encourage Convention attendees that are not in committees to attend the NEST competition following the Alumni Recognition Banquet Friday evening. This committee is responsible for informing the Convention of all background information it needs to act upon your report and recommendations.
The NEST competition winner will be awarded at the Chapter Awards Banquet on Saturday evening. Be prepared to present that award.
Please provide electronic copies of all files, motions, reports, and proposals to the Convention Chair and Executive Director via email (tbp.convbus@tbp.org) prior to the Business Meeting when a report will be presented.
