Anuradhapura is a popular place from many destinations in Sri Lanka. there are many places for instance,  the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwalisaya, Sigiriya, Twin Ponds(Kuttam pokuna), and many more. Anuradhapura is an ancient majestic city founded by King Pandukabhaya in 437 BCE. it is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka to visit.

Polonnaruwa is another popular place in Sri Lanka. there are various destinations you can visit like, the uththararamaya(gal viharaya), Vatadage, and many more than I can type. Polonnaruwa is filled with ancient architecture that is strong and steady. Polonnaruwa was first established as a military post, but in the 11th century, Polonnaruwa was reformed. and now you can visit Polonnaruwa and examine its sturdy and well-built structures.

Kandy is another wonderful place in Sri Lanka and there are heaps of places. some of them are The Temple of the Sacred Tooth, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, The Kandy Lake, Udawattekale Sanctuary, the Kandy to Ella train ride, and many more. Kandy was first established by King Vikramabahu lll and was originally known as Senkadagalapura. If you are visiting Sri Lanka, make sure to visit this spiritual place to take a look.

Trinco is another famous place that attracts tourists to Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is a coastal city in the eastern province of Sri Lanka and renowned for its natural Harbour, breathtaking beaches, and ancient temples. some places are Nilaveli Beach, Uppevali Beach, and Pigeon Island National Park, if you're into exploring rather than relaxing there are a few places you can visit like Ford Frederick, the maritime and naval history museum, the Trinco War cemetery, and for religious places like the koneswaram Hindu temple, the Bhadrakali Amman temple and many more.
