Over this week, you will complete three units - please do Units 12, 13 & 14 in your workbooks. Please do not go ahead in the book or do any tasks that haven't been assigned. These books are specifically for Lockdown Learning and need to be really well looked after. :-)
The main things we want you to do this week are:
Unit 12, 13 & 14 - begin working on these units and upload these to the assignment on Mrs G's Classroom page

Year 6 - Unit 12 - Schooling in Victorian Times, Unit 13 - On the Trail of a Moa & Unit 14 - Comical, Clever Clowns
Maths, Reading & Writing Tasks - these are all integrated tasks this week, based on the learning around the Pekapeka - Native New Zealand Bat - click on the slides here and work through the learning ; there are new tasks to do each day.
Offline Learning Tasks - continue with the Week 3 Offline Challenges
Countries Challenge - keep working on this challenge and we will be comparing our answers on Thursday's Meet.
Remember - please do not email or 'share' the documents with your teachers, just attach any documents or photos to the relevant assignment, click on the Turn In button, and then that means any of your teachers can find your work easily and give you feedback on it.

Spend 10 minutes each day in a quiet place. Centre yourself - straight spine, soft belly. Make sure you are comfortable.
Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Just like we do in class. Focus on each breath and track it as it goes in and out. Notice your breathing and remember that if your mind wanders, you just silently say ‘wandering’ and bring all your attention back to your breathing.
Let yourself sit, breathe and just ‘be’’.
Doing this each day will help you stay calm, relaxed and peaceful - just like it does in class!
Choose an activity from the 42 Challenges sheet in your learning pack. How many can you complete?
Help with the cooking - make a recipe you haven’t done before.
Clean / sort / organise / tidy something - check with someone at home first to make sure you’re allowed to do it!
Weed the garden.
Tidy your bedroom.
Do the laundry - wash, hang out to dry, fold, (iron if you’re allowed or need to) and put the clothes away.
