I have been a primary school teacher since the late 80s and have taught all primary and intermediate age groups in towns and rural settings throughout my career. I have taught in varying schools in the Wairarapa, Otago and Southland regions and have 15 years principal experience.

I recently completed 4 years as a Resource Teacher of the Deaf completing post grad papers in Special Education.  I have two children who are in their late 20s and my daughter has two lovely girls so that makes me a nanny.  I have moved north again after nearly 20 years in the deep south and already appreciate the warmer temperatures!  I keep myself busy with my family and friends, like to get involved in community activities and currently love the early morning walks along the beach. I teach the class at Tangimoana on for 3.5 days per week. I have been the principal of Tangimoana School since August 2019.

Junior Teacher

I came from Bali, Indonesia to New Zealand and married Oliver Krohn in December 2019. I joined Tangimoana School as a volunteer in January 2020.

After receiving my work visa in May 2020, I officially started working as an admin at Tangimoana School, a role I continue to hold. I obtained Permanent Residence in January 2024. In August 2023, I began assisting as a Teacher Aide as well.

I enjoy the beach and the small community life here. I look forward to being part of your children's learning journey.

I have been working at the school for 20 years. I live across the road from Tangimoana School and make sure all the school is kept clean and the field, school pool and gardens are regularly tended to.
