Meet Ms. Julie

I have been working as the school nurse at the K.A. Brett School since 2022.  My husband (Jay) and I have 3 adult daughters (Chloe, Nadia, and Vanessa) and a dog (Sula).  We love to camp in the summer, have picnics on Foss (that's where this picture was taken) and travel around the world!  I believe that when you experience other cultures you see that people are more alike than different.  

I also believe that taking care of children is a team effort, and I like to think of myself as a partner in your child's wellbeing.  My goal is to support parents with ensuring their child's health needs are being met, both at home and school.  I will do whatever I possibly can to ensure your child has what they need to be successful at school.  This happens through good communication with parents and guardians.  If I don't know you need assistance with getting your child glasses, seeing a specialist, finding a health care provider or dentist, obtaining health insurance, etc. then I can't support you with the process.  My door is always open and it is a judge free zone.
