General Guidelines for Math Placement Exam (MPE)
The Math Placement Exam is a 90-minute online exam used to assess students' math skills. This is an important tool to help advisors determine the math course students should enroll in.
Students are expected to take the exam on their own without the help of others.
Students must abide by the Aggie Code of Honor.
Calculators (of any type) are not allowed while taking the MPE.
No additional resources (e.g., textbooks, cheat sheets, formula charts, web searches, etc.) of any type are allowed on MPE.
Do not use Internet Explorer when accessing the MPE.
It may take 24 hours for scores to appear in Howdy.

Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
Testing accommodations are provided to allow students with documented disabilities an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. In order to receive accommodations for the MPE, the student must submit disability documentation and their specific accommodation requests at least two weeks prior to the preferred testing date. How to find MPE scores
Student's MPE scores are displayed on the screen immediately after completing the MPE. The scores are also stored in Howdy for future reference. To access the scores in Howdy, login into Howdy, go to the My Dashboard link, and then navigate to the My Record section. Click on the link for Test Scores to view the MPE score.
