The East Foundation promotes the advancement of land stewardship through ranching practices, science, and education. They offer a paid ranch management internship with housing at the San Antonio Viejo Ranch to college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates. They are seeking interns intending to equip future natural resource managers with skills in the management of cattle, range, and wildlife. The US Army Corps of Engineers is recruits candidates as Summer Park Rangers for Hords Creek, Navarro Mills, Proctor, Waco, and Whitney Lakes in north-central Texas. These positions are full-time over the summer months, typically pay $16 per hour with night, Sunday, holiday, and overtime pay differentials, offer personal and sick leave, and provide valuable experience working for a federal land management and recreation agency. Serving as a summer park ranger often provides the experience and connections to begin a fruitful and enjoyable career with the US Army Corps of Engineers in various roles, including park rangers, natural resources specialists, natural resources managers, or biologists, to name a few.

Sea Grant’s Community Engaged Internship (CEI) aims to broaden participation in coastal, ocean and marine sciences by offering paid internships to students in any field of study, with an interest in coastal and marine sciences. The CEI is a national program partnering with Sea Grant at colleges and universities in all coastal states.

Known Application Content: ONE compiled PDF consisting of the following 3 elements compiled in the following order:
1. CV - (2-page limit) detailed education and work experience;
2. Goal Statement - (1-page-limit) emphasize your interest and how the internship opportunity will further
your career goals; optional: state which location and project to which you have a specific interest; and
3. One Letter of Recommendation - (1-page-limit) from a previous employer, current academic mentor, or a
professor/instructor. Letter must be on referee's letterhead stationery, dated and signed.

Monarch & Pollinator Research and Outreach Intern - Department of Defense
This internship opportunity is available to veterans and military spouses/dependents. Interns will be involved in monitoring monarchs and their habitats, as well as creating environmental education and outreach programs about pollinators, monarchs, and migratory species to be given at military bases.
Interns will be compensated with $600/week, paid travel expenses, and $1000 housing stipend, if necessary. There are locations throughout the US and applications become available in December.
