❝ During my time at East Foundation, I was able to grow in so many ways. For me, I particularly wanted to grow my stockmanship skills. Each time I was working with cattle, I learned something new, whether it was about herd health or how to read an animal's behavior when sorting. This internship also allowed me to expand my knowledge in the land management aspect. I learned how rotational grazing is a vital part of ranching, along with other practices such as prescribed burns and brush management. Lastly, I was able to gain vital skills while working in the shop alongside the shop foreman and shop assistant. ❞
❝ During my time with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, I've learned so much about conservation, habitat management, and the importance of educating others about natural resources. I’ve been very fortunate to work in such a welcoming and supportive workplace that encourages learning and professional growth. This internship has given me so many connections, resources, and opportunities to help me sharpen my skills and strengthen my passion for wildlife management and conservation. ❞
