The role of Partners in the Undergraduate Internship & Research Partner Program is to not only provide hands-on experience to future Natural Resource professionals, but also to contribute to the greater success of the RWFM network. By hosting undergraduate students as interns or researchers, you are participating in a cycle of engagement RWFM student and modeling what it means to intentionally invest in the future of fellow Aggies as an Alum. On this page, you will find resources regarding the program timeline, an overview of the program's purpose, past presentations, and more.
Partners will provide Students with a unique, learning-centered, high-impact experience that will last from two to six months. Required expectations of RWFM Partners include providing a detailed job description, learning-centered job duties (note: not only manual labor or receptionist work), employer-led onboarding or orientation for the student, and an end of experience performance evaluation.
Preferred Partner expectations include articulation of internship/research learning outcomes, ongoing feedback and coaching of the student, mid- and post-experience performance evaluation, and providing housing and/or a stipend to the student.
