This website is organized by the Department of Geography Association of Geography Graduate Students, and is designed to be a resource for prospective, incoming, and current graduate students attending graduate school at Texas A&M University in the Bryan-College Station area.
Included is information on how to move to Texas, where to live, local restaurants and grocery stores, what to do for fun, and much more!
AGGS meets monthly to discuss relevant issues and initiatives important to Geography graduate students, and AGGS representatives act as the voice of the Geography graduate students to the faculty and to the University. As a group, we invite a graduate-invited speaker for the Department's colloquium series every semester. Additionally, every year, AGGS will host various events for the department, including the beginning and end of the year socials, and currently weekly Zoom socials on Friday evenings.
