It is important that everyone, regardless of background, political beliefs or any other characteristic, is welcome to take part in the community. Both CeNAM and the Texas A&M University Cyclotron Institute have codes of conduct which all attendees of Frontiers 2026 must follow.
Any concerns about breaches of a code of conduct can be reported to one of the co-chairs, the faculty advisors or Sherry Yennello, the director of the Cyclotron Institute. Emails sent to frontiers2026@tamu.edu will be seen by the co-chairs and faculty advisors.
Reports may also be made to the CeNAM director, Hendrik Schatz, or the CeNAM managing director, Ana Becerril.
Employees of Texas A&M University, including graduate students, scientific staff and faculty, are mandatory reporters. As such, we cannot promise to treat reports in confidence.
The goals of CeNAM are to advance and disseminate scientific knowledge; and to inspire, educate, and train a new generation of scientists and STEM workers. To achieve these goals, CeNAM has developed an approach that is centered around an open, interdisciplinary environment that fosters exchange of new ideas and the creation of new collaborations among all participating scientists. The code of conduct is therefore not only a set of basic standards of behavior that reflect our shared values. It is also an essential part of the CeNAM approach that enables us to be successful and reach our goals. The code of conduct applies to all participants in the CeNAM collaboration. It does not replace or supersede any local institutional codes of conduct, anti- discrimination policies, or anti-harassment policies. We welcome comments and suggestions to improve and evolve this document in the future.
The full CeNAM code of conduct is available online.
Faculty, staff, students and visitors at the Cyclotron Institute share a common interest—to contribute to society through research and education. This is best conducted when everyone behaves in a welcoming and respectful manner. Creating a collegial, safe and supportive environment is everyone’s responsibility.
Harassment and discrimination are prohibited and the Cyclotron Institute is committed to providing an environment that is welcoming for everyone. Anyone who witnesses a breach of this code of conduct is strongly encouraged to notify a member of Institute management.
