Editors' Notes

The world has spent over a year in a state of “behind.” Behind screens, behind home workroom doors, behind masks -- and many other concealing arrangements that have drastically altered the procedures of day-to-day life. At the Talawanda Tribune, we have met weekly from behind our computer and phone screens to strategize this final product of a highly abnormal year. We’ve decided to focus on the impacts of the pandemic, as well as showcasing some first-hand accounts of students and teachers. We hope these pieces will help show what’s behind the mask of the Talawanda community.
