And we’re happy to share (once more) that TEA Players returns to perform Disney’s Lion King and is instructed by Chance Utter and Eileen Kohli. Wednesday rehearsals begin in November in Building One, register to secure your spot!
Rock Band Club returns bringing student-musicians together to jam, collaborate, and perform live. Taught by talented musician Chance Utter, bands will meet weekly to build a 2–3 song set, grouped by grade, experience, and instrument so every student can shine.

Art Club with Ms. Kohli
This Fall, Art Club students in grades 2nd – 6th will explore the joy of painting through hands-on, creative projects designed for young artists. Instructed by gifted Art Teacher, Eillen Kohli, students will work primarily with watercolor and acrylic paint, learning how to mix colors, use different brushes and strokes, and create texture and layers. Students will bring home projects throughout art class.
Details - Tuesdays beginning September 15th from 3:00pm - 4:15pm. 6 sessions offered.

Mountain Biking Club
Get ready to ride! With experienced coaches leading the way, student riders will hit the single-track trails of Truckee to build skills, confidence, and a love for mountain biking. Each outing focuses on fun and exploration while teaching essential techniques like shifting, climbing, descending, braking, and body position on the bike.
Students 2nd - 6th will explore some of the area’s best trails like Sawtooth Zone, Happy Face, and Flying Squirrel - right in our own backyard. Along the way, they’ll also learn route finding, bike maintenance, and trail etiquette, building independence both on and off the bike.
All participants need a front-suspension or full-suspension mountain bike in good working condition (no e-bikes!).
Details - Wednesdays beginning Sept 16th from 3:00pm - 5:15pm (end time will vary with ride location). Six sessions offered.

Rock Band
Returning in late Fall, Rock Band Club is ready to turn the volume up and bring students together to jam, collaborate, and perform! Led by accomplished musician Chance Utter, students will meet once a week to build a two- to three-song set-list. Bands will be formed based on grade, experience, and instrument played to ensure everyone has the best chance to shine.
Along the way, band members will explore their musical strengths, sharpen their skills, and learn how to work as a team to create their best performance. There will be opportunities for the band to perform at community events like Celebration of the Arts, TEAs Got Talent and more.

TEA Players
Disney’s Lion King
This School Year, TEA Players led by Chance Utter and Eileen Kohli present the musical theatrical performance of Lion King Jr.! This six month production brings the story to life through rehearsals, singing and dance practice, costumes, and culminating performances.
Based on Disney’s animated film, Lion King Jr. follows Simba, a young lion destined to become king, as he navigates friendship, family, loss, and finding his place in the world. Along the way, Simba encounters unforgettable characters including Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki, and the mischievous Scar.
With African music, engaging choreography, elaborate costumes, and plenty of theatrical fun, Lion King Jr. gives student-performers the opportunity to build confidence, collaborate, and bring a timeless story to the stage.
