About Us 

1. A Brief History

Shuangyuan Elementary School was opened on April 1, 1936 and named "Taipei School." Classrooms at Lao Sung and Tung Yuan Primary School were temporarily used for teaching while the school was under construction.

When construction was finished on April 1, 1937, the school moved to its present location and was renamed "Taipei Chueh Chiang Ordinary School."

After the recovery of Taiwan, the school was again renamed "Taipei Shuang Yuan Ordinary School" on November 1, 1945.

One resource class was established on March 1, 1965.

The school was renamed once more to "Taipei Shuang Yuan District Shuangyuan Elementary School" on August 1, 1968.

The Adult and Continuing Education School was established on July 15, 1981.

The kindergarten opened in August 1996.
