Dear SYE Students and Open Source Students, 

As an organization founded and led by Syrian refugees who experienced firsthand the enormous challenges associated with continuing higher education both inside and outside of Syria and Iraq, SYE is aware of both the obstacles students from conflict zones face and the potential for higher education to enable students from conflict zones to realize their full potential. We are here to help you overcome these barriers.

SYE Students and Mentors:

This resource hub  provides you with everything both students and mentors need to succeed with SYE, and is an excellent supplement to our student modules and mentor training. If anything is unclear, please let us know.  Hannah, our Program Coordinator, will be your main point of contact throughout the program. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out via our support email. 

Open Source Students: 

This resource hub provides you with everything you need to succeed in your college application process. We encourage you to take advantage of this site and read each section carefully. We have included templates for you to use in different locations. 

When we founded SYE, we could not have possibly imagined what this organization would become. We are proud of the accomplishments of each and every one of our students, and cannot wait to see what all of you achieve in the next year.
