Work experience is available to students over the age of 15. There for it is normally available to Year 10, 11 and 12 students. The college will flag work experience opportunities as they arise however, generally It is the students responsibility to find Work Experience placements.
Year 10 2022 Work experience should occur between 1st August and the 5th August 2022.
To go on work experience students need to complete and submit the following forms
The Employer Guide to Work Place Learning (to be provided to the employer)
Go to work experience course (Students will need to create an account and complete the online course then print certificate)
A white card- if working in a construction industry. A white card can be completed with any provider, the following link will assist you in finding a provider and what to do if you have lost your card https://www.safework.nsw.gov.au/licences-and-registrations/white-cards
Post work placement students are encourage to get them employer to complete the following google form for feedback
Work Experience employers have to right to request and view a students COVID-19 Vaccinations. Students are required to present a vaccine certificate if requested student should discuss this with their employer prior to work experience.
