How to find a job?

There are many ways to find employment;

• searching for jobs with search engines such as SEEK, indeed and career one

• searching for apprenticeships/traineeships through support networks like Apprenticeship Careers Australia and MEGT

• Handing out resumes/ CV's at places you would like to work

• Putting a notice up on board where spare parts are sold e.g. A student looking for a plumbing apprenticeship may put a notice on the board in Recee (a plumbing parts supplier)

• I have A junior role coming up in my company and rather than advertise, I thought maybe there is a student of Marcellin that may be interested.

My company imports and distributes tier 1 electronic security equipment (mainly CCTV cameras) we are a team of 50 staff with branches across Australia.

Our product is used by institutions which include Macquarie bank, Westfield, Sydney Health, Qld Police, Vic Police & Telstra.

The role would suit a junior who has an interest in technology, PC’s, networking etc.

It’s also hybrid role with some counter sales, technical support and a small amount of warehouse picking & packing.

All training and ongoing training will be provided, and we also would suggest they attend TAFE for further career advancement.

The position is in our St Peters office. There is a train station less than 300m away as well as plenty of parking.
