043 Mangalagaur Festival  - 18/8/2023 (PTA activity)

The festival celebrated this year in school was ‘Mangalagaur’ on 18th August 2023 in the Sologran Hall for students of the secondary, primary and pre-primary sections. The event commenced by inviting the Manager and Heads of the 3 sections and teacher representatives to light the diya alongwith the PTA core committee members.

The comperes for the day gave a short introduction with additional information of the festival ‘Mangalagaur’ alongwith a PPT presentation. Teachers and parents next performed a small skit with a very powerful message ‘Women need their ME TIME- so respect the women in your homes – your mother, grandmother, sister’ and lend a helping hand towards them. Any event is incomplete without a dance hence an energetic dance performance by the PTA members and teachers was the next item. ‘Puranpoli’ was distributed to all the dignitaries, teachers, support staff and security too by the PTA members as also to all the students of each section by the class teacher. This programme was a great success and our PTA team who performed was appreciated by all the dignitaries present. I would like to thank the school authority for allowing us to perform this event and celebrate this festival Mangalagaur in school.
