Gabriella Johnson - (Skilton)
I am excited to recognize Gabriella as this month’s Stellar Comet for the warmth and positivity she brings to our classroom each day. Gabriella is incredibly kind and always willing to lend a helping hand to both her classmates and teachers. She greets others with a smile, makes everyone feel welcome, and goes out of her way to be a good friend. Gabriella always tries her best and approaches challenges with determination and a positive mindset. She isn’t afraid to ask for help when she needs it and shows great perseverance, always pushing through even when something feels tough. Her willingness to grow, paired with her sweet and gentle nature, helps create a classroom environment where everyone feels safe, encouraged, and included. We are so lucky to have Gabriella as a role model in our class!
Joey Morgan - (Snyder)
Joey Morgan is a well-deserving Stellar Comet. He is a quiet but strong presence in the classroom, always demonstrating respect and a solid work ethic. Joey is well liked by his peers and consistently shows kindness and consideration to those around him. This year, he has made tremendous strides in both his academics and his confidence, showing noticeable growth in all areas. Even though he may be reserved, Joey confidently advocates for himself and takes initiative in his learning. We are proud of his progress and grateful to have him as a positive role model in our school community.
Grade 4
Nolan Keough - (Muchler)
Nolan is an exceptional student who consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and genuine kindness. He is always on task and gives 100% effort in everything he does, whether it's a class assignment, group activity, or independent work. Nolan’s polite and respectful demeanor makes him a joy to have in the classroom, and his quiet leadership sets a great example for his peers. He approaches each day with focus and determination, never shying away from a challenge. Congratulations, Nolan—you truly shine bright!
John Slusarski (Ogbin/Cancila)
John Slusarski is an exceptional student who consistently demonstrates the qualities that embody the spirit of the Stellar Comet award. Not only is he a dedicated and hard-working learner who strives for excellence in all his endeavors, but he also radiates kindness and empathy towards his peers. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, offering support and encouragement to those around him. John's caring nature and sense of responsibility make him a reliable and trustworthy member of our school community. He regularly goes above and beyond what is expected, setting a stellar example for others to follow through his positive attitude and admirable character. For these reasons, John is highly deserving of the Stellar Comet award.
Grade 5
Tahlia Huynh - (Steinmetz/Hart)
Tahlia Huynh is an important member of our classroom community. Her friendliness and sense of humor go a long way in building a culture of kindness. Working hard and including everyone in her group, Tahlia is a great team player. Her dedication and hard work are evidence of her commitment to academics. Tahlia is well liked by her teachers and is always willing to help with any classroom task. It is a great honor to have Tahlia represent our class as Stellar Comet for the Month of May.
Finnegan Camlin - (Roberto)
Finnegan embodies the true spirit of a Stellar Comet. He is diligent in his work and consistently puts forth his best effort. His sense of responsibility toward his schoolwork is evident in so many ways—even choosing to do his nightly reading in the car on the way home from practice to earn those minutes! Finnegan leads with his heart, sharing his kindness and compassion with everyone around him. His conscientious nature, combined with his calm and sweet demeanor, lights up any room he walks into. He is truly a great kid and an outstanding role model for his peers. He is a thoughtful and dedicated student, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have him in my ELA class.
