Grade 4
Jacob MacKerchar - (Spaeth)
Jake is a shining example of what it means to be a 4th Grade Stellar Comet. His determination to grow, paired with his willingness to uplift those around him, truly sets him apart as a role model for his peers. Jake doesn’t seek the spotlight, but his character shines through in his daily actions — he follows directions quickly, respects classroom procedures, and arrives each day ready to learn. What really stands out about Jake is his positive presence: he’s friendly, thoughtful, and always brings good vibes wherever he goes. I am so glad he is part of our classroom community this year!
Charlotte Lockwood - (Mertz/Denson)
Congratulations, Charlotte, on being our Stellar Comet! Charlotte shines every day in our classroom! Charlotte is kind to everyone around her, includes everyone and makes others feel welcome. Charlotte is a hard worker who always gives her best effort. She is a problem solver and will never give up if something is challenging. We can always rely on Charlotte to be a class helper and to do the right thing. We are so proud of Charlotte and all the wonderful qualities she brings to our classroom!
Grade 5
Xander Guittar - (Roberto)
Xander Guittar - When I think of a Stellar Comet, I think of responsibility, determination, leadership, and heart — and Xander truly embodies all of those qualities each and every day. He consistently works hard to do the right thing, stays focused, and always makes sure his work is completed. I especially love how he uses his early finisher time to improve his typing speed — that kind of initiative says so much about his drive to grow.
Beyond his strong leadership skills, Xander brings so much joy to our classroom. He makes me laugh daily — whether it’s through his dramatic and theatrical readings during our novels or his perfectly timed poses and quick-witted jokes. He keeps us on our toes and fills our room with positive, fun energy.
I feel so lucky to have Xander in my class. He is such a valued and special part of our classroom family.
