Grade 3
Layla Miller (Ferrara/Speis)
Layla has demonstrated an enthusiastic and optimistic attitude toward her education. Each morning, she arrives at school with a cheerful demeanor and is eager to engage in the day's lessons. During class discussions, her hand is consistently raised, indicating her active participation and desire to contribute. Layla is a kind and caring student who is always willing to lend a helping hand to her classmates. She works hard in all of her assignments and never gives up, even when the work is challenging. Layla is a great friend who is supportive and encouraging to those around her. We love having Layla as a part of our classroom this year!
Dillon McCalla (Floyd/Collins)
Dillon is a cooperative and helpful student who always puts forth 100% effort. He consistently collaborates well with his peers in partners and small groups, as well as enjoys social times with them. Dillon participates actively in class discussions and always has a friendly smile, demonstrating his polite and ready-to-learn attitude. We are so proud of Dillon and excited to name him this month’s Stellar Comet!
Grade 4
Mackenzie Beebe (Poulson)
Mackenzie has been putting in so much effort this school year and is extremely deserving of being a Stellar Comet! Each day, Kenzie comes to school with a smile on her face for her teachers and her classmates. She is always ready to participate and be a good example for others. She is never afraid to ask for help, or offer her help to others. Kenzie is a bright light in our class and we are so proud of her!
Edward Pratt (Dominik/Hill)
Eddie is such a great kid and works hard at everything he does. He always takes his school work very seriously. Eddie is very kind and gets along well with all of his classmates. He greets everyone with a smile, is always polite, and celebrates others’ successes. Eddie is a pleasure to have in our class this year! For these reasons and more, Eddie is our Stellar Comet!
Grade 5
Lucas Liszewski (Camlin/DiGiacomo)- Lucas is an outstanding student. Lucas actively participates in classroom activities and discussions, and his contribution adds a lot of value to the classroom. In addition to being a great student, Lucas is a great friend. We often find Lucas checking in on his friends and helping when needed. Lucas is actively involved in extracurricular activities such as chorus, band, and drama club. Lucas has a passion for making comics and being creative. We are pleased to recognize Lucas as our Stellar Comet due to his accomplishments and well-rounded personality!
Mia Zitkevitz (Donahue/Cheadle)
Mia is a remarkable kid! Not only is she exceptionally kind and caring, but she is also intelligent and talented. In the classroom, Mia consistently excels in math and science. She also has a passion for writing and is very creative. Beyond the classroom setting, Mia's true passion lies in the world of dance. She can be found endlessly practicing and performing in a variety of dance styles, including hip hop, tap, ballet, jazz, and acrobatics. In summary, Mia is the total package - a student who embodies the perfect blend of intelligence, kindness, and determination. Her remarkable accomplishments and admirable character make her an inspiration to all who know her and a perfect candidate for this month’s Stellar Comet!
