Contour Line Drawing

Reduction Drawing

For additional content on drawing using a reduction method, there is a video by Aaron Blaise, who illustrated the Disney movie Lion King on how he uses reduction drawing methods. In class we will do this process differently, by first covering the page with graphite and then drawing with both pencil and eraser to create the image.

Using the image attached here you can complete the drawing we did in class using the reduction method in your sketchbooks.

Grid Drawing
