The District has suspended the 30 hours of community service as part of this graduation requirement for the class of 2023. The suspension of required hours does not preclude students from performing community service if their parents approve. This will be a family decision.

Hours completed may be submitted to the History/Social Science teacher for reporting. Hours that do not follow the district guidelines may not be counted for community service.

SUHSD Administrative Regulation 6146.1(a) requires that a minimum of 30 hours of non-paid community service be performed by students as part of their graduation requirements.
