Self-care is crucial for our physical, emotional and mental well-being. In order for us to be the best we can be for our students, we have to take care of ourselves. Check out our weekly suggestions below.
Make an inspiration collage and hang it where you can see it. Use it to help generate new ideas and thoughts when you need them.
Write a list of things you’re grateful to have in your life and post it somewhere you can see it often. We have a tendency to focus on the negative, so remind yourself of the good stuff.
Create a nourishing morning routine. Start the day with a nice stretch, an uplifting playlist, or a nutritious breakfast.
Make sleep a priority. Stick to a consistent bedtime and a wake time. Ensure you get at least 7 hours of sleep.
Create a self-care box. Collect things that help you relax. Things such as a blanket, candle, crossword puzzles, a book. The list can go on and on but remember its what makes you feel relaxed.
