Kindness is very important in creating a sense of community and belonging. One act of small kindness can release an enormous chain of positive events. We hope our weekly challenge will encourage our entire BVH Family to “choose kindness”.
Write positive affirmations or inspirational quotes on small pieces of paper, then hide them in random places for strangers to find.
Smile and say good morning to everyone you see before noon.
Wake up early, take a walk and greet everyone you pass with a “Good Morning” and a smile
Ask someone “how are you today?” Practice active listening. Use open questions that need more than a yes/no answer. Ask ‘how are you feeling today?’ and follow up with questions like 'Tell me more'.
