*Students are expected to finish any unfinished classwork as homework.
*Students will need to keep headphones/earbuds in their backpack.
INFORMATION REGARDING ABSENCES: If your student is going to be absent, please call 781-596-8820 and choose option 1, MS Office, then option 1 again to report an absence.
INFORMATION REGARDING HOMEWORK REQUESTS: It is the policy of the Swampscott Middle School that when a student has been out with an illness, on the third day of the absence a parent/guardian may call the main office and request an “absent work” packet. The call should be placed early in the day (between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.) as to provide teachers with the time to put together the necessary work. PLEASE do not leave the request on the call in sick line. The absent work packet will be available at the front desk to be picked up by the parent/guardian at 2:30. Additional resources, such as contacting a study buddy or checking a teacher’s website, may also be available for students to access missed homework.
